• AWS Landing Zone for Mission-Critical Aerospace applications:
  ‣ Leading a platform engineering team in developing CI/CD pipelines for deploying and configuring OpenShift clusters on AWS through Terraform.
  ‣ Assisting in the creation of a hub-and-spoke network topology spanning multiple AWS accounts following network engineering best practices.
  Impact: creation of a robust landing zone on AWS for a multi-billion dollar aerospace company following their acquisition of another company’s airline product portfolio.

• Policy as Code on Azure:
  ‣ Working closely with security team of a major aerospace enterprise to establish security priorities for Azure governance.
  ‣ Writing declarative code that defines the desired state of their security policies using Enterprise Azure Policy as Code (EPAC) solution.
  ‣ Transferring knowledge to security team to take ownership of the solution.
  Impact: providing the tools and knowledge for the security team to create policies and guardrails for managing multiple Azure subscriptions.
• Adopting DevOps practices for Modern Data Platform
  ‣ Deploying self-hosted Azure Pipelines agents on Virtual Machine Scale Sets greatly improving performance, security and cost optimization for pipeline executions.
  ‣ Designing Terraform modules for deploying Databricks clusters and jobs to be used by data engineers.
  Impact: close to $5000 in monthly savings with the self-hosted agents. Enabling data engineers by adopting infrastructure as code to manage their resources.

Helped architect cloud solutions as well as setup and manage accounts/applications across different cloud providers. Enthusiast about working with new infrastructure technologies and improving workflows/deployment cycles, troubleshooting and implementing best practices.

• Helping a foreign university adopt Google Cloud Platform by setting up their organization, billing and IAM resources.
• Self-hosting an open-source ERP suite on Google Cloud Platform to manage university operations.
• Impact: replacing an on-premises system that constantly had outages with a highly available ERP deployed on GCP.
